These wines are the foundation of our work and are representative of both our house style and the typical Palatinate soils: clear, varietal wines that are enjoyable and welcoming. They have both strength and balance.
The traditional grape varieties of Riesling and Pinot Noir are our great passion. Both reflect the soil and location in which they were grown in an unmistakable way. These wines act as a bridge to the single vineyard wines. A composition of traditional terroirs and old vines.
Riesling and Pinot Noir from individual vineyards around Bad Dürkheim. Vineyards that have stood for the highest quality since the 19th century. Shaped by distinctive soils and microclimates.
Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay from single vineyards for which we reserve a little extra care and attention. Fermented in smaller oak barrels, aged at least 12 months on the lees. Gently rebellious, endearing characters.
Something sparkling for those special moments: an organic secco as an aperitif; a classic, finely bubbled sparkling wine for a toast?
Our sparkling wines are produced using the traditional “Champagne Method” and mature on the lees for at least 18 months. The results are well-balanced, strikingly elegant with ageing potential.
